Worst Pictures Ever of Valentines Day Class Treats

In sticking with my monthly craft resolution, behold...

J went with the non candy treat. Actually J went with whatever I decided. Gosh that boy is easy (in some ways). Krazy straw made to look like an arrow. The little tag says, "Here's wishing you an arrow to the heart on Valentines Day". A little too violent? Well, he is a boy after all. I printed it in script so 1st graders couldn't read it anyway. Clever am I.

T wanted candy. All. The. Way. We found these cute lip pops. Think ring pop but lips. Ha! Added a little treat topper and Voila! Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezey.

This is BIG!

If you are anything like me and are in charge of most (if not all) meals, hate to meal plan, like to use what you have in the kitchen, like to buy on sale, and always procrastinate then this is going to revolutionize your way of life. Not. Even. Kidding.

My friend told me about Supercook and it is amazing! You make a free account then enter all your ingredients that you have in your kitchen. That part is a little tedious but totally worth it. There are shortcuts provided like they suggest items etc. however all in all it goes pretty fast. Then, and here is the amazing part, it lists recipes for dishes that you can cook! It crawls all the great food sites like epicurious and allrecipes and if you have a site you love I think you can even suggest sites to them! Also lets say you have chicken you need to use up because maybe, and I'm not saying I do this, but you took it out of the freezer and forgot it was in there for two days? Well, just highlight chicken on your kitchen list and bingo it spotlights chicken recipes! Brilliant, yes?

Oh yes friends it gets better...
Let's imagine that you make this fabulous dinner that everyone in the family loves (it's my dream, ok?) and you want to remember it to maybe put into a rotation? Well, it bookmarks the recipe for you! I'm sure there is more to this fabulous site that I haven't even discovered.

I'm not having a giveaway and can't even promise I will read it right away but if you check it out, please come back and leave a comment telling me what you thought. I'll invite you to my virtual birthday party and be your best cyber friend ;)

Anyone still out there?

I kinda left you all hangin'. So sorry. I got a full time job to go along with my part time job and two evening classes so I have been a little busy.

I haven't even had a chance to make myself an apron from my pattern I won. It is so cute too! I don't work summers so hopefully I can get all my crafting in then.

I have made dozens of crowns and even more keychains. I have even broken out my new Cricut and made a vinyl sign for my car. I just haven't had the time to post pics. All in due time. In the meantime check out some of my fave craft blogs...

I haven't won anything...

yet!

This may be my chance.

Crafty Crow is having a giveaway and boy is it ever cute. Now I suppose if I was going to choose to win something it would probably be a gajillion dollar lottery however this apron definitely makes the list, fo sho. If I win the pattern maybe I will make one for a giveaway!
What do you think?
I think I better go pick out some fabric to make my apron.
Well, no one can accuse me of not being a positive thinker!
(hmm, was that a double negative? Two negatives make a positive, right?)
