Birthday Crowns

After finding this tutorial I went a little birthday crown crazy. My first crown was for my niece's 1st birthday in March however I have no clue where the picture of it is? Then I made one for a co-worker, again no pic. Next was a sweet 16 crown for one of Sissy Bean's besties. Luckily she took a pic...

Teenagers are so fun!

If I was going to make them for everyone else I had to make them for the twins birthday, right?
Fortunately I snapped a couple of pics at the party. Not the greatest pictures but you get the idea.

King "J " a.k.a. The boy who wouldn't wear his crown.

Last but not least was a special order from my Princess Sissy Bean for her sweet 16. She said she wanted it to look like Snow White so this is what I came up with...

I even figured out how to embroider words with my sewing machine!

My favorite part was the bluebirds holding the ribbon.

I'm guessing Brother Bean isn't going to want one for his 13th but I may just have to make one anyway!

  1. Ummm... my birthday will be coming up in a few months. And I'm a "PRINCESS" too (hint, hint).

JK. Very cute. And if you click on the picture, you can really see the stitching up close. Good job.

  2. Thanks, and what Princess might you be?

Clicking up close also magnifies all the dust on my buffet. Yikes!
